Why we give.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." (2 Corinthians 5:17)
We believe that stewardship and generosity are a way of life lived in response to God's generous nature. Christ has called us to witness to others the love we have for our neighbor. As we give of ourselves and our resources, we unite our faith with action and help bring the hope of Christ to a hurting world. Through our gifts to St. John's Methodist Church of Georgetown, we share God's abundant grace through our ministries and our lives.

Stewardship Campaign 2027
2 Corinthians 9:7-8: “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
Every year our Congregation sets aside a few weeks to emphasize stewardship for St. John’s Global Methodist Church. This year our stewardship campaign will begin on Sunday, September 6th and shall run until Lord's Acre Sunday, October 4th, when we will consecrate all God has given us through this campaign. Our stewardship theme this year is “Continuing to Use God’s Gifts to Build His Church.”

Give In Person
Every Sunday, you may choose to put your pledge or offering in the plate passed during worship services. Please make sure to use an envelope for cash and detail where you want the money to go (i.e. operating budget, women's ministry, etc.) or write in the memo line of your check.
Mail A Check
You may write a check and mail it to the church office at 311 E. University Avenue, Georgetown, TX 78626. Please make sure to note in the memo line where you want the money to be used.
