Music Ministry

"Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord." (Ephesians 5:19)

The Mission of the music Ministry of St. John's is to draw the hearts of the congregation closer to God through music and song, and to provide opportunities for the members of the congregation who are musically inclined to lift up offerings of praise to the Lord in the presence of His people.

St. John's Chancel Choir Maundy Thursday Cantata

Join us for Maundy Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 7:00 PM, as the choir presents "Here At the Cross: Stories of Forgiveness".
The testimonies speak of the peace found in the cross, the grace offered by the cross, the beauty that resides in the cross, and, finally, the invitation to come to the cross.
Before entering the sanctuary for the Cantata, walk through the Fellowship Hall and Family Life Center and participate in our Stations of the Cross.

St. John's Chancel Choir

John Aleman, Chancel Choir Director
This adult choir performs on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month at 8:30 AM & 11:00 AM services, as well as other special events.
Rehearsal:
Wednesdays 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

St. John's Ringers

Roger Clayton, Jr. , Handbells Director
This hand bell choir plays a diverse range of music and performs on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 8:30 AM & 11:00 AM services.
Rehearsal: 
Tuesdays 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM.

Every Day People Praise Band

Clint Fraser & Roger Clayton, Sr., Praise Band Leaders
This ensemble leads the Table Worship Service. We are always looking for instrumentalists and singers to come join us!

St. John's Children's Choir

The Children's Choir is open to all children from Kindergarten - 5th grade. They are led by Brittney Hitchcock & David Pencil.

Sundays 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM
