"Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord." (Ephesians 5:19)

The Mission of the music Ministry of St. John's is to draw the hearts of the congregation closer to God through music and song, and to provide opportunities for the members of the congregation who are musically inclined to lift up offerings of praise to the Lord in the presence of His people.

St. John's Chancel Choir Christmas Cantata

The people of Israel yearned for the coming of the Messiah, the One whom the prophets foretold. “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned. For unto us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of His government and peace there will be no end.”

 These words call to us today. “What sweeter music can we bring than a carol for to sing the birth of this our heavenly King?” We answer that call and make room in our hearts to celebrate the birth of the Christ child.
Join us to spread Christmas cheer through music to those who are homebound and in nursing homes.

St. John's Chancel Choir

Chris Baker, Chancel Choir Director
This adult choir performs on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month at 8:30 AM & 11:00 AM services, as well as other special events.
Rehearsal:
Wednesdays 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

St. John's Ringers

Chris Baker , Handbells Director
This hand bell choir plays a diverse range of music and performs on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 8:30 AM & 11:00 AM services.
Rehearsal: 
Tuesdays 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM.

Every Day People Praise Band


This ensemble leads the blended worship service and plays at other community and church events. We are always looking for instrumentalists and singers to come join us!
Rehearsal: 
Mondays 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

St. John's Children's Choir

The Children's Choir is open to all children from Kindergarten - 5th grade. They are led by Brittney Hitchcock & David Pencil.

Sundays 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM
