"Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord." (Ephesians 5:19)

The Mission of the music Ministry of St. John's is to draw the hearts of the congregation closer to God through music and song, and to provide opportunities for the members of the congregation who are musically inclined to lift up offerings of praise to the Lord in the presence of His people.

Maintaining a Healthy Voice workshop

Workshop Purpose: This workshop will focus on healthy speaking and singing techniques, including proper breathing, vocal support, vocal warm-ups, healthy vocal habits, and ways to use the voice safely and effectively.

Goal: To help all St. John's members develop healthy vocal habits and use their speaking and singing voices with greater confidence, freedom, and care, so that we may use the gifts God has given us to serve others and glorify God through our voices.

This workshop will be led by our Director of Music Ministry, Caleb Chang, and Sally McKee

St. John's Chancel Choir

This adult choir performs on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month at 11:00 AM services, as well as other special events.
Rehearsal:
Wednesdays 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM

St. John's Ringers

This hand bell choir plays a diverse range of music and performs on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 11:00 AM services.

Every Day People Praise Band

This ensemble leads the Table Worship Service. We are always looking for instrumentalists and singers to come join us!

Whether you play an instrument, sing glory to the King, or want to learn to play the bells, we have a place for you. No experience is necessary to join this ministry. Join us for the upcoming meetings and learn how to become part of the music ministry.
