Elisha was known to be a man of God because his actions displayed it and his character reflected it. Elisha knew God had certain expectations and that doing anything contrary to them would come at a great cost. In our lives, we will be given numerous opportunities to do good things for others and let God reward us. We must be willing to accept that doing something for the glory of God is sufficient and that anything else is just an act of entitlement.
