Jesus was ALWAYS the answer to fallen humanity. The story in the Garden of Eden, the serpent, and the piece of fruit was always going to end with the sacrificial death of God's only begotten Son. Jesus is the '2nd Adam', or better known as 'Adam as he should have been'.
